Kopexil increases the volume of hair in the growth stage by working on the deep structure of the roots. It rejuvenates the hair roots so that healthy hair growth can persist. Fibrosis condition of the hair roots cause’s blood vessels to compress and shorten the life span of the hair follicle, kopexil corrects this problem.

The compound Kopexil is generally used for the treatment of hair loss in compositions which can be provided in the form of a lotion, shampoo, gel, foam, emulsion, vesicular dispersion, soap, spray or aerosol foam. The compositions intended for topical application are essentially characterized in that they contain, in a physiologically acceptable medium appropriate for topical applications .The compound in proportion of between 0.1 and 10% by weight and preferably between 0.2 and 5% by weight relative to the total weight of the compositions. The treatment mainly consists in applying the composition to the alopecic areas of the scalp of an individual, optionally accompanied by a massage to enhance the penetration (the lotion is applied without subsequent rinsing). A decrease in hair loss is observed after a few months of treatment. If a shampoo composition is used it is rinsed after application.
